Introduction of artist<\/p>\n
I am Anikoon, my Korean name is Sungjin Han and I’m a contemporary artist who lives with the motto life is art and art is life. I view the world and express what I see, feel, and think about life through paintings or sculptures.<\/p>\n
What are the things that represent me? After thinking about it, toys, robots, cups, etc. are things that I have a close relationship with, so I am like to use these objects as my subject.<\/p>\n
I mainly use a variety of colors in my work. I plan images in advance according to the theme of the work and draw the picture in my head first. However I try not to overthink because when there are various topics you want to talk about it can overcomplicate art. I like intuitive expressions. I try to draw a pure childlike paintings that anyone can relate to. It seems to be expressed more effectively.<\/p>\n
As a viewer, I thought it would be great to be able to see my favorite artist up close and personal, so I like to stay connected with my audience about my work and exhibitions in real time through SNS channels such as Instagram and YouTube. Also, I want to break the perception that artists are unreachable, and I want artists’ lifestyle to be open and relatable.<\/p>\n

\u4ee3\u8868\u6211\u7684\u6771\u897f\u662f\u4ec0\u9ebc\uff1f\u60f3\u4e86\u60f3\uff0c\u73a9\u5177\u3001\u6a5f\u5668\u4eba\u3001\u676f\u5b50\u7b49\u90fd\u662f\u548c\u6211\u95dc\u4fc2\u5bc6\u5207\u7684\u6771\u897f\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u559c\u6b61\u7528\u9019\u4e9b\u7269\u9ad4\u4f5c\u70ba\u6211\u7684\u4e3b\u984c\u3002<\/p>\n

\u4f5c\u70ba\u89c0\u773e\uff0c\u6211\u8a8d\u70ba\u80fd\u5920\u8fd1\u8ddd\u96e2\u548c\u500b\u4eba\u5730\u770b\u5230\u6211\u6700\u559c\u6b61\u7684\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u6703\u5f88\u68d2\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u559c\u6b61\u901a\u904e Instagram \u548c YouTube \u7b49 SNS \u983b\u9053\u8207\u89c0\u773e\u5be6\u6642\u4e86\u89e3\u6211\u7684\u4f5c\u54c1\u548c\u5c55\u89bd\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u6211\u60f3\u6253\u7834\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u9059\u4e0d\u53ef\u53ca\u7684\u89c0\u5ff5\uff0c\u6211\u5e0c\u671b\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u65b9\u5f0f\u662f\u958b\u653e\u7684\u548c\u76f8\u95dc\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

My art<\/p>\n
Robots are projecting the appearance of modern people. It is also an expression of me. Like many of the young people these days, I have never had the chance to enjoy the economic boom of the 1980s and 1990s . We are past the golden age<\/p>\n
and much like a robot made in a dark age, it seems that we have become a machine that cannot do anything by itself or think creatively.<\/p>\n
Such robots should now be equipped with an artificial intelligence chip to learn to stand up on their own.<\/p>\n
We shouldn’t just sit down and resent the world, but explore new things and move forward. So, I have a desire to throw such messages into my work to usher in a new era.<\/p>\n

Anikoon artist draws and makes robots. The robot he encountered through cartoons and other toys as a child continues to live in his imagination as an adult. In addition, toy robots, Star Wars characters, and everyday objects enter the screen and live as their representatives. Growing up like an illusion in the world of popular culture and his imagination, it is placed in the canvas through imaginary representation of everyday objects rather than imitation or representation of the real world. Even when he purchases wooden horses, tin toys, and crumpled dolls from antique shops while traveling in the US and uses them as objects of imitation, he summons the imaginary world where he was endlessly free as a child.<\/p>\n
